2.Buy dry items like cereals,pulses,spices etc from whole sale markets as they work out cheaper.

3.Resist temptation of buying display items and also avoid impulse buying of junk foods at the departmental stores.

4.When buying fruits and vegetables go to local markets where one can get fresh items at low price.
